Happy New Year!!!

2008 was an exciting year for me. Upon successfully completing a NJ State Accredited program for Clinical Nutrition and Holistic Health, and earning two Board Certifications, I started my own company, Holistic Crossroads, LLC. This new endeavor has enabled me to better the lives of numerous people as I helped them achieve their health and wellness goals. It is my sincere passion to communicate to you; that with the proper information, guidance, and encouragement, your hopes and desires for overall wellness are always within reach.

Another blessed event in 2008 was the birth of my daughter, Cyprus Raquel, who joined her older brother Eben.  My pregnancy, in addition to her birth, was as amazing as her brother’s. With the aid of my doula, Heather Criollo, I was able to deliver her naturally, without the assistance of any medications.  I am also thankful to Carol Blane, a lactation consultant, and Leigh Muro, an occupational therapist, who both played vital roles in helping me achieve and maintain a successful breastfeeding experience, enabling me to offer my babies the best nutrition available to them.

I am also proud to share with you that this year I will be pursuing a doctorate in naturopathy.
