Various workshops covering topics from pre-pregnancy to the growing family will be offered, with dates to be announced here.
These workshops include:
A Prego to Be - September 11th
Planning pregnancy? Experience this workshop that nutritionally preps the body to offer baby the best development and helps mother get ready for the physical changes. This workshop includes information on: detoxification, changing eating habits, and improving fertility. Prepare your body at least 3-6 months prior to conception.
Eating for 2 - September 25th
There are 3 different workshops that fit appropriately with each trimester. Some of the topics include and are not limited to: eating for morning sickness, foods to avoid during pregnancy, a vegan prego, gaining healthy weight, eating for twins. For those who wish and are in the early stage of the last trimester, a workshop will be presented on natural birth options and how nutritionally you can positively impact labor (we will have a doula as a guest speaker). For those who are planning on breastfeeding we will also have a workshop during the early stage of the last trimester (lactation consultant as guest speaker).
Postnatal - October 16th
This workshop will prepare you with knowledge on how to lose weight the healthy way, eating while nursing, eating for energy, eating for postpartum depression.
Yum Yum - October 23rd
This will be a workshop for mothers of babies who wish to learn about baby’s first foods, how and when to introduce them.
The Family Table - October 23rd
This will be a workshop for those who wish to make healthy eating habits at home for the whole family and especially for those who would like to expand the menu of picky eaters.
